Sponsorship terms

Last updated 20 September 2026

These terms cover paid sponsored placements on ApplyDesk (applydesk.net and staff dashboards). They supplement our Terms of service and Privacy policy. This page is a practical description, not legal advice.

1. Placements

ApplyDesk may display compact banners labelled “Sponsored” in two places only: above the main dashboard content, and between the workspace list heading and workspace cards. We do not sell sidebar ads or place ads inside application review, applicant portals, or payment flows.

2. Pricing and duration

Catalogue prices are in GBP (pence stored as integers). Introductory fixed-duration examples:

Weekly means a genuine 7-day period. Monthly means a 30-day campaign period unless a subscription says otherwise. The amount, interval, placement, and renewal terms shown at checkout control the purchase — not marketing copy alone.

3. Fixed vs subscription

Fixed-duration campaigns are one-time payments with no automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew on the disclosed Stripe interval (1 week or 1 month) until cancelled. Inventory stays live only while payment is current and the creative is approved.

4. Approval

Submitting an enquiry does not approve an ad. We review destination URLs, creatives, and category. We may reject misleading claims, malware, scams, phishing, abusive products, or anything that harms Discord communities or ApplyDesk. Changing an approved destination or creative requires re-review.

5. Rotation and measurement

Each placement shows one sponsor at a time and may rotate fairly among multiple eligible campaigns. Fixed-duration and subscription packages purchase time in that rotation — they do not guarantee a fixed number of impressions or clicks unless a separate guaranteed-delivery product is sold.

We count first-party impressions only when a banner is genuinely visible, and clicks through our redirect. Reports show confirmed impressions, raw clicks, estimated unique clicks, and impression share. Click fraud cannot be eliminated entirely. Short windows can look uneven; fairness is assessed over meaningful samples.

6. Refunds and delivery

If we cannot deliver a paid placement for reasons under our control (for example, we reject a creative after payment and cannot agree an alternative), contact support. Refund handling follows our refunds policy where applicable. Failed subscription payments pause inventory until resolved.

7. Your responsibilities

You must have rights to the creative and destination content, keep destination pages lawful and safe, and not use sponsorship to harvest ApplyDesk user data beyond what the public click provides.
